Yes, HRC Should Be Eager to Debate

Don't know that I've really weighed in on the debate over how many Democratic presidential debates should be held, other than to observe that there's no platonic ideal of the right kind of schedule. But it does seem clear that Jamelle Bouie and Greg Sargent are absolutely right that if the resistance to more debates is coming from Hillary Clinton, she needs to reconsider.

Did you look at that Gallup world cloud about HRC that I linked to at Lunch Buffet? It was dominated by the word "email." There's really only one way to change that, and participating in debates over substantive issues is the cheapest and most visible (and also the one most likely to change Clinton's reputation for inaccessibility). If the fear of being asked about emails once or twice at additional debates bothers her camp, they should keep in mind the questions are already out there, being repeated ad nauseum by Republicans and news media. HRC should seize on every opportunity to talk about something else, and a debate is something no one, not even the New York Times, can ignore.
